New windows, paint, and trim in the Master Bedroom

We replaced our original casement windows with sound reducing, insulated windows.  We had been thinking about for a while but the north window was hit by a Bebe gun (yikes!) so we had to now.

I was very excited when my husband at home called me at work and said the installers were there.  Then, I arrived home to see this.  I was not expecting this.  Sure we said we would finish them to save some $$ but I was not expecting this.

Time to get to work!

I cut out ragged drywall the window installers left behind.  It was a lot (A LOT!) worse than this.

Mr. B and I installed the stained jamb extensions, I sealed it with foam sealant.

I am spackled and sanded down the weird textures in the walls.
One day I will do something with the stippled ceiling too.  It seriously looks like a monster dance party up there :)

To tape or not?  This time Mr. B decided to tape.  I am an anti-taper from now on since I had to redo the line anyway.

Mr. B. primes with the roller while I edge. The room, in primer, already looks more lively and welcoming.

Yahoo!  Finished with the primer coat. Let's paint! Then, we will install the stained trim and paint.

We picked Behr's Holiday Road.  It will look great with the natural wood trim.

We also love the light, airy and dreamy feel it will give to the master bedroom especially when we look at our mountain view or are just enjoying a late summer rainbow :)

THE BIG REVEAL!!!
The final look with the new windows, paint, and trim. So pretty!

I guess I will let Mr. B sleep now :)
