New windows, paint, and trim in the Master Bedroom

We replaced our original casement windows with sound reducing, insulated windows.  We had been thinking about for a while but the north window was hit by a Bebe gun (yikes!) so we had to now.  I was very excited when my husband at home called me at work and said the installers were there.  Then, I arrived home to see this.  I was not expecting this.  Sure we said we would finish them to save some $$ but I was not expecting this. Time to get to work! I cut out ragged drywall the window installers left behind.  It was a lot (A LOT!) worse than this. Mr. B and I installed the stained jamb extensions, I sealed it with foam sealant. I am spackled and sanded down the weird textures in the walls. One day I will do something with the stippled ceiling too.  It seriously looks like a monster dance party up there :) To tape or not?  This time Mr. B decided to tape.  I am an anti-taper from now on since I had to redo the line anyway. ...
