The trail follows the perimeter of the airport runway.

Early springtime in downtown Juneau with snow, birds and a deer. While Tim and I were strolling along the dock we noticed a couple of folks staring at this deer. We stopped to take a few photos. We we respectful and stayed at least 300 yards away. I thanked the deer after I took this photo.

Hiked out to Point Brigid Saturday and stayed at the Blue Mussel cabin . Very cold winds on the hike out but the cabin was warm and toasty, eventually. The high winds blew up the surf which was a beautiful site. You can see the ice forming on the rocks (below) from the spray. We all had a great time watching the waves inside the cabin.
