T.G.I.(M. F.) F.

Today was a good day. How could it not be a good day - it's Friday. The most mundane tasks are almost bearable on fridays. Honestly, my day was filled with several mundane tasks. Yesterday, sledding was a blast!!!!  Mr. B. and I had a great time and it wasn't very cold out. With the weather so pleasant, Mr. B. and I were surprised that we didn't see more people on the hill, but we were the only ones there. It was much more relaxing for both of us when we realized we wouldn't collide with any other folks. So, we totally cut loose and acted like rambunxious kids. Warm thoughts on a cold day

There is a blizzard outside right now. So, I thought I would think warm thoughts rather than just shivering in my hoodie. Maybe these photos will do trick.  Juneau's landscape (or should I say icescape) qualifies as the most beautiful place I have ever resided. Mr. B can't say the same (he lived in Yellowstone). The mountains, the trees... Looking for a good time Bluegrass style? The Juneau Bluegrass festival is a great time for everybody to dance and enjoy the winter's end. The road really does end here. As a matter of fact it ends quite a few places around here. You might want to check out how much it would be to build a bridge (Juneau to Skagway) that would only be safe to drive 5 months out of the year!    From the bridge, looking towards the Valley, the view of the Gastineau channel (Heading toward Douglas). The birds of November! This was taken at outer point in North Douglas.
